Sasha became transgender when she began her high school career. Sasha's family supported him through the rough times and Sasha knew that she was capable of doing anything through music. Jim and Sasha are both songwriters. The duo has been playing at local venues along with open mics and in other places. While The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo as well as Jim shared their life journey in an introductory clip played before their performance. They talked about their favorite songs and the first guitar that Sasha owned. Because his father was a professional music educator, he was better at understanding the concept. Sasha, born female, was unsure of his gender as a child. In an Instagram post, he recently opened up about his struggles. Jim was filled with emotion as he outlined the reasons he was not in a position to assist in these tough moments. Sasha Allen is a contestant on The Voice. She was born a girl. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, turns 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen began his transition to masculinity when he was in the first year of high school.
